| Description: I painted and drew these images over digital prints of earlier drawings. I considered them as "expansion", exploratory drawings, building on the pre-existing image, adding the dimensions of color and gesture. In some cases the earlier drawing was entirely worked out; in others, the drawing became a simple form. The group was also an exploration of the color blue, and refers to Blues music. |
