| Description: This group of drawings signaled a return to representational images. The re-use of previously drawn and painted images collaged in a digital print are the continuation of several years worth of exploring pre-Columbian, folk, and brut image making. The compositions are completed by painting, and drawn lines demarcate perspective and space. All images come together to represent various histories of America, and are an attempt to append the pluralistic and individual nature of personal histories that ultimately document our all too human existence. These form an archive from which to paint and make prints. |
