| Description: Created while traveling between Florence and Paris, I painted and drew these images as a visual travel journal. Heavily influenced by the Florentine conception of space, they present exploratory imagery in an architectural space. The green wash is a reflection of the color of the river Arno that flows through Florence, and adds an organic feel to the rest of the drawing. They are studies for large-scale paintings. |
