| Description: This group of poetic drawings and small paintings was created as a search for new symbols and signs. Much of the work from this period became representational, as the drawings were made from observations of the world and contemporary life. Much of the work is based on digitally collaged prints. The images draw from various sources, including pre-Columbian symbolism, folk, and contemporary brut. I consider these to be part of a visual archive to paint from. |
