| Description: Completed after a period of travel in Japan, these collaged drawings reflect calligraphy as well as exploratory drawing. The diptych format reflects a fusion of drawing methods. Half the drawing was created in Japan, while the other half was completed upon return to New York, on pieces of found notebooks. The addition of color, sequential boxes from Manga comic books, and conceptual drawing completed these studies for large-paintings. |
