| Description: From a sketchbook which served mostly as a travel journal, this group of drawings explores symbolism, composition, line, and form. Originally the grid was used to demarcate multiple compositions on the same page, and to yield multiple thumbnail drawings. As the drawings evolved, however, the drawings became a unified whole. These sketches serve as the basis for many "plates" for digital prints. |
